1. How do I set up service?

2. Who do I contact if I have issues with my service?

If you are experiencing service issues or would like to adjust your level of service, please contact Republic Services directly by calling 952-941-5174.

3. What containers are available?

Each household receives a Republic Services owned garbage and recycling cart. Both carts have lids and wheels. Residents may choose (with rates accordingly):

• 35 gallon
• 65 gallon
• 95 gallon

4. When day is collection on?

Refuse is collected once a week; recycling is collected every-other-week. Pick-up will occur on Mondays, unless otherwise noted because of a holiday. Residents must have their refuse and recycling at the curb by 7 A.M. on their collection day. 

5. What recycling service is available?

Excelsior uses single-sort recycling. Recycling is collected every-other-week. 

6. What yard waste service is available?

Republic Services offers yard waste hauling services on an annual subscription service. The yard waste season typically runs from mid-April through November, weather permitting. 

7. Is organic recycling available?

Republic Services offers organic recycling on a monthly subscription service. Organics are picked up weekly.
